Shhh... LISTEN.
We already know how to do this.
Writers, for instance, do this every day. We tune into our inner consciousness as it prods us to tell a story, share an idea, or call to arms.
Sometimes we can’t get an idea out of our head. We have to do SOMETHING to satisfy its need to be heard or realized.
Usually that means paying attention, writing down notes, asking questions. Because usually, those ideas are initially challenging to digest.
Either we’re not on the same frequency, or it takes some time to understand the scope or depth of the idea.
We already know how to do this.
In relationship, our business partner or significant other has ideas that shake things up. The status quo that we enjoyed is not on as solid ground as we once thought.
It’s not the end of the world. It’s simply change.
Can you roll with it?
We already know how to do this.
As humans, we do this every day. We tune into the outer consciousness, the greater consciousness we call society. We look to our groups to see if we’re dressing and eating properly, saying the right phrases, complying with rules and laws.
Some of us are finding that our lives, while nowhere near perfect, are safe and secure and always have been. We’re finding others who are hurting, protesting, pleading, begging, praying for us to understand their experiences.
Listen to the words. Listen to the protests, the riots, the mortar rounds. Listen to the blood. Listen to the change. Listen to the paradigm shifting beneath your feet.
Listen in to the tension created. Be vulnerable. Ask questions. Be the change.
You don’t know all the answers and you never did.
