Own your name. Make a difference.

As a book editor and book coach, I’ve been working with descendants of Frank Lloyd Wright and Ernest Hemingway.

It would be amazing to say that I’ve edited books by those two powerful names in particular, but I can’t.

They’re dead, Jim.

However, their legacy has made such an impact in the world and to their descendants. Now today’s generation has answered the call to write their own books.

They understand the power of their names.

But they absolutely know they are amazing in their own right.

They feel the pull to do good in the world, inspire others with their knowledge and experience and expertise.

They are making their own name for themselves.

They know that authoring a book will help them achieve their goals and vision to instigate positive change in the world.

These are the types of authors I love to get behind.

When I help authors align with their purpose and ground it with their message, I am fulfilled.

I am allowing them to make their own impact, broaden their reach, and—as they are entrepreneurs—increase revenues in the process.

Now, do I have a famous dead relative?

No.

But my dad once told me, when I was a teen, that a Polish name ending in -ski used to convey an air of royalty.

He was a farmer, not an etymologist, so we couldn’t confirm it.

What matters is that you matter.

It’s time to convey authority in your field, to align with your purpose, and ground yourself and your readers in your truth.

If you have the drive and instinct to make a difference, and can drop a book into your sales funnel, send me a DM. Let’s talk.
